The industry umbrella group that represents New Zealand’s natural products, functional foods, complementary medicines, cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals industries has announced the election of one new board member and the re-election of two.
Natural Health Products NZ also fare-welled long-standing board member Leigh Kite, who has held the role since 2012.
The newly-elected Natural Health Products NZ board member Dr Rod Claycomb is the Co-Founder and Innovation Director of Quantec Ltd, a Waikato-based company specialising in the development and commercialisation of high value naturally derived bio-actives. He has an extensive background in the dairy industry, filling roles from pure and applied research through to commercialisation.
Dr Claycomb joins the following people on the Board:

- Samantha Gray (BioEquitas)
- Jackie Herbert (New Zealand Health Manufacturing)
- Chris Johnson (Anagenix)
- Peter Lehrke (PharmaNZ) – re-elected
- Aviette Musin (Health Post and Bio Balance)
